Circularity
At Via Seating, sustainability is more than a label. It’s a responsibility woven into every stage of our design and manufacturing process. It starts with selecting materials that are safe, durable and environmentally responsible, but it doesn’t stop there. True sustainability means thinking long term. It means creating products built for longevity, engineered for repair and designed to adapt to the evolving needs of people and spaces. It means giving our chairs not just a first life, but a second and even a third.
That’s why we’ve developed a comprehensive circular product system that redefines what happens before, during and after a chair’s time in use. Whether through our Take-Back Program, Triple R reuse initiatives, local donation partnerships or easy-to-service component design, we’re committed to keeping our products in the value cycle and out of the landfill. We’re proud to offer clients solutions that extend product life, reduce waste and support community—all while delivering the comfort, style, and performance that define Via Seating. This is circularity the Via Seating way.

Take-Back & Refurbish
Take-Back Program: When a chair reaches its end-of-life we offer clients the option to return it. Chairs are repaired, re-upholstered or retrofitted in-house, using original components whenever possible.
Community Reuse: Smoothly integrate with local donation initiatives like Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful. Open-box and gently used chairs are donated, donated locally or repurposed through charity partnerships.
Triple R Program
Our award-winning "Triple-R Program" highlights a program customers opt into that allows participating customers to tap into the following for their Jeté chairs:
Reuse: Encourage extended life through refurbishment.
Replace: Replace worn components to restore performance.
Recycle: At end-of-life, ensure parts are responsibly recycled reducing landfill waste.
Jeté is a prime example—designed to last 12 years or more and built for a second life through this system.

Durable Design
At Via Seating, durability is the cornerstone of sustainable design. As outlined in our Responsible Design framework, we meticulously engineer each chair for long life—from reliable frame construction to comfortable, long-lasting cushioning.
Rugged Frames & Recyclable Materials
We prioritize materials such as steel, aluminum, and polypropylene—not only for their strength but also for recyclability at end of life.
Proprietary Comfort Foam
Our proprietary, injection-molded cold-cured foam provides multi-density support with a resilient outer skin that resists wear and moisture—maintaining comfort for 12 years or more.
Rigorous Testing & Certification
Every component is screened through our Design‑for‑Environment process and tested in‑house and by third-party labs to meet ANSI/BIFMA e3 standards.
Serviceable by Design
We include easy‑to‑follow care guides and disassembly instructions so chairs can be repaired, refreshed, or refurbished—not discarded.
