Responsible Design

At Via Seating, we believe that truly great chairs are consciously built, with every detail thoughtfully designed for performance, longevity & environmental responsibility. From the initial concept to the end of a chair’s life cycle, sustainability is at the core of our process. We continuously work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, minimize water consumption & cut down on solid waste, ensuring that our impact on the environment remains as low as possible.
Our commitment extends to the materials we select, prioritizing environmentally responsible, non-toxic & safe components that meet the highest industry standards. We meticulously engineer each chair to provide exceptional comfort, durability & ergonomic support while upholding our promise to sustainable manufacturing. The result? Seating solutions that are not only safe & sustainable but also embody the quality, innovation & craftsmanship that define Via Seating.

Limited Water Usage

Water is one of our most valuable natural resources, and its conservation is especially critical in the high desert valley surrounding Sparks, Nevada—home to Via Seating’s manufacturing facility. Recognizing the importance of responsible water usage, we have taken proactive measures to minimize our consumption throughout our production process. By carefully evaluating every step of manufacturing, we have eliminated all water use beyond the precise amount needed to steam wrinkles out of our final upholstered products.
This strategic approach ensures that we uphold the highest standards of craftsmanship without unnecessary waste. By optimizing our processes & embracing innovative, water-conscious techniques, we actively contribute to the preservation of this vital resource, reinforcing our commitment to sustainable manufacturing & environmental stewardship.

Use of Recyclable Materials

We thoughtfully select materials that are highly recyclable by design, ensuring our products contribute to a more sustainable future. This includes components made entirely or primarily from aluminum, steel & polypropylene—all of which can be efficiently reclaimed & repurposed. Our commitment to recyclability extends beyond our chairs to our shipping materials, where we use corrugated cardboard & polyethylene bags to reduce waste while protecting our products in transit. By prioritizing these materials, we create seating solutions that are not only built to last but also designed with responsible end-of-life disposal in mind.
