This Supply Chain Responsibility Statement is provided to you by Via Seating (hereafter referred to as “Via Seating”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

 

Code of Conduct Policy

Via Seating believes in social responsibility, environmental protection and fair cooperation as the key tenets of our business relationships. Via Seating does not tolerate child labor or any other form of exploitation of young employees by supplier partners. Via Seating does not tolerate any form of discrimination in supplier partners’ hiring and employment practices. Via Seating requires our supplier partners to provide a harassment and abuse free workplace for their employees.

 

Supplier Partner Qualification

Via Seating pre-qualifies each new supplier prior to committing any new material purchases. Via Seating conducts on site factory audit including but not limited to material control, sourcing risk evaluation, in-production quality control, finished goods inspection procedure and code of conduct conformance. Via Seating also inspects a select set of approved suppliers on an annual basis to ensure continuous quality conformance and code of conduct compliance.

 

Supply Chain Best Practices

Via Seating promotes and shares best practices among and across our worldwide supplier base for continuous improvement. Via Seating encourages collaboration in logistical coordination for consolidated shipments. Via Seating shares best practice case studies in lean manufacturing, packaging design improvement and lead time flexibility improvements among our suppliers to drive supply chain excellence across our supplier base.
