Cleaning & Care

General Care Guidelines

The following guidelines are recommendations based on tests we’ve conducted aimed to keep your product in the best condition. For general surfaces, we recommend using a lint-free, damp cloth. We suggest the use of environmentally friendly cleaning products wherever possible. Note, when using any product for the first time, you should test it on a small, hidden area. Check for any fading, discoloration or compromising of the material quality before using on the full product material.

Casters

To get the most out of your casters, it is always good to keep them as clean as possible. Once a month, gently flip your chair over and carefully use tweezers to remove all dirt/hair/debris out of the creases of the caster. Use a lint-free cloth with your preferred cleaning agent and clean the caster thoroughly. Thoroughly dry the caster with another lint-free cloth after.

Copper-Infused Mesh

To prevent overall soil, frequently vacuum and lightly brush the best to remove dust and grime buildup. Spot clean with mild soap and water. Infrequent use of a 1:100 bleach to water solution can be used for disinfection of the mesh. The accumulate wet contact time should be limited to a maximum of two hours over the life of the chair. Regular bleach cleaning of this mesh is not recommended.

After, take a lint-free cloth and dip it into any water-based cleaning agent. Scrub gently over the stained area. Repeat if needed. For best results, follow the mill guidelines for your exact textile.

Leather & Faux Leather Upholstery

Keep leathered upholstery out of direct sunlight so the material doesn’t dry out and fade/crack.

Cleaning leather upholstery is easy and can be done in 3 different ways:
• Rubbing alcohol and water.
• Actual leather cleaner you find at a store (always test a small area first).
• Vinegar and linseed oil.

Use a lint-free cloth. Damp it into your cleaning agent and gently scrub the stained area. Use a dry, lint-free
cloth to dry the area. Repeat if needed. For best results, follow the mill guidelines for your exact textile.

Outdoor Aluminum

No special maintenance required. Gently wipe off any spill or debris. After, dip a lint-free cloth into a mild soap and water mixture. Scrub gently over the stained area.

Outdoor Steel

No special maintenance required. Inspect elements for scratched or vandalized areas as these could rust. Use low pressure cold water at least 3 times a year. Use hot water (122-140° F / 50-60° C) and 3,5-4 bar pressure once a year.

Poly/Plastic Shells

Gently wipe off any spill or debris. After, dip a lint-free cloth into a mild soap and water mixture. Scrub gently over the stained area. For tougher stains, you may use distilled vinegar and a lint-free cloth. Repeat if needed.

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)

To prevent overall soil, frequently vacuum and lightly brush the best to remove dust and grime buildup. Spot clean with mild soap and water. Infrequent use of a 1:10 bleach to water solution can be used for disinfection of the TPU.

Vinyl Upholstery

Use a bristle brush to gently loosen up the stain. Mix mild soap and warm water together and using a lint-free cloth, damp it a little bit into the mixture and scrub gently wherever the stain is located. Avoid using any detergents as it can cause the vinyl to change color or fade. For best results, follow the mill guidelines for your exact vinyl.

Wood, Laminate & Metal

Gently wipe off any spill or debris. After, dip a lint-free cloth into a mild soap and water mixture. Scrub gently over the stained area. Do not use any abrasive cleaners.
