Stefano Sandonà, born in Padua in 1974, pursued an education in the arts, developing a talent for synthesizing aesthetics, innovation, and functionality into timeless designs with strong appeal. Sabrina Bettini, born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1978, earned a degree in architecture from FAU Mackenzie and IUAV in Venice. She gained practical experience working in architecture firms and construction companies in both Brazil and Italy.
In 2006, as partners in life and work, they founded Sandonà Design Studio in Italy, which evolved into SandonàBettini in 2021. Their work spans industrial design, product consulting, and exhibition architecture, with a particular focus on furniture. Their creations are influenced by contemporary culture, including graphics, the digital world, and movement, drawing inspiration from travel, architecture, and landscapes to produce sinuous, colorful, and sensory objects.
The studio has received numerous prestigious international awards, including the Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum, the iF Design Award from Hannover, the Red Dot Award from Essen, and the European Design Prize.
